Family Tree
The Tree View allows you to carry the details of your family tree in your pocket and within reach everywhere your phone goes!
Tree View
The Tree View lets you manipulate the view of your tree. You can easily move it around to see more of your tree and different people in your tree.
The quick navigation options in the lower left corner allow you to quickly navigate back to the home person of your tree (click the home icon). If it’s your tree, that’s likely you!
The other option gets you back to the “base” of your tree if you have navigated to further out generations.
Search for People
If you are looking for a specific person in your tree, you can click the person search icon in the upper left corner to type in a name and locate someone quickly.
Person Tree Card View
If you click on someone’s “tree card,” it brings up information about that person and links to other screens for them. If a person has a profile image, you’ll see it, along with their birth and death information.
Other options include:
- View Profile
- View Tree (this make that person the “base” of the tree view)
- Quick Edit
- Add Family

Change Trees
Have other trees in your Storied account? You can navigate from one tree to another by clicking the drop-down arrow by the name of your current tree.

Can I only have one tree on the mobile app?
All the trees you have in your Storied account will also be available in the mobile app.
When I search for someone, does it only include people in the tree I'm viewing?
No. When you search for an ancestor or family member, it searches all your family trees at Storied.
