What type of content can I include in my book?

Be creative! A StoriedBook can include your written stories plus supporting photos, documents, and audio. In print, each story fits 1–2 photos. Online, you can attach up to 100 media items (photos, audio files, PDFs) per story—accessible by scanning each story’s QR code.

Great things to include

  • Family photos: childhood, weddings, military service, holidays, reunions

  • Historical records: birth/marriage/death certificates, census pages, passenger lists, naturalization papers

  • Newspaper clippings: obituaries, wedding announcements, achievements, local news

  • Keepsakes & papers: letters, postcards, diaries, recipe cards, awards, programs, ticket stubs

  • Genealogy materials: pedigree charts, research notes, timelines, maps of hometowns or migration routes

  • School & work: yearbook pages, report cards, diplomas, business ads, badges

  • Community & faith: church records, cemetery photos, service projects, volunteer work

  • Printed book: clean page layout with your story + 1–2 photos.

  • Online story: add more photos, audio recordings (interviews, oral histories), and PDFs of documents; readers open these via the story’s QR code.

  • Tag people from your family tree and add places/dates—your People and Places indexes build automatically.
